Product Description – Large Dog Clock with what look likes a full size depiction of a Pointer standing regally on a mount with the clock centered for viewing. The clock is made from spelter and has a silver tone to the exterior. Worn from age this clock is likely circa 1920-1940s and was made to be a much more affordable version of the highly prized “Anamalier” or Bronze versions selling for far more. The clock measures a full 15″ tall by 10 inches wide. The clock itself is marked “Made in the USA” and has a paper label on the face; it retains the original windup mechanism in the back, with typical adjustment knobs. As always, we didn’t fool with the clock but think this may be overwound and needs some TLC. Still a great clock that shows exceptionally well with great subject matter for a mantle or man cave. Great gift for hunting enthusiasts!
Provenance – a great find from a buying trip in Marietta Ohio. Retired Veteran invited us to see his clock collection. Of course, it didn’t take long for us to make the arrangements..
